Each design begins with silhouette: the curve at the cuticle, the taper through the centre, and the way the tip balances the hand.

DESIGN NOTES
HOW WE THINK ABOUT A SET
VELNORAYA treats press-on nails as wearable objects: shaped for the hand, composed like a miniature collection, and prepared to return to more than once.
Each design begins with silhouette: the curve at the cuticle, the taper through the centre, and the way the tip balances the hand.
Layered shades are chosen for depth in both soft indoor light and daylight, rather than for a single photograph.
Pearl, gilding, botanical marks, and dimensional accents are placed with restraint so the hand remains the focus.
The surface, edges, and overall balance are reviewed before a set is prepared for storage, packing, and wear.

THE VISUAL LANGUAGE
Our palette moves through moss, fig, pearl, ivory, and softened metallic detail. Inspiration comes from botanical prints, jewellery boxes, old paper, painted glass, and the quiet arrangement of objects on a dressing table.
The result should feel decorative without becoming costume, and distinctive without losing its usefulness.
